Had a California burger and garlic fries. Yummy, real garlic on the fries not a seasoning. California burger had a lot of avocado.

This place is fantastic. Great, friendly service and a fun ambiance. The menu wasn't huge but it had all the basics and classics you'd expect and want. I had the veggie omelet, which was really tasty, and the vegetables were all clearly fresh. My wife had the turkey club, which was really good. The sides were fantastic, too. I had a biscuit and hashbrowns, both of which were baked/cooked perfectly. The fries that came with the sandwich were something else, crispy and delicious. My son didn't eat his French toast but because I don't know but they were really good, too. 10/10 would definitely go again.

I honestly like the food but the eggs Benedict sauce was missing the lemon flavor for my liking, the spinach and bacon added great flavors to this dish. I loved the hash brown and fresh fruit. Now the Diner burger we added an egg over easy and garlic fires 10/10. The fries were not overly seasoned with garlic it was the right amount of garlic and seasoning. The service was fairly quick and got our food right away. I would recommend getting there sandwiches instead of the eggs Benedict.

Outstanding food, good portions for a good price. Very good service, the pot roast dinner is one of the best.

A gem in Merced County, great food, excellent service and Mr. Scott is a gracious host. It's always worth a trip to Scott's Diner. Best biscuits and gravy around.

In town a day early for business, so I stopped by this diner. Place was hopping, but the service was quick and friendly. Food was very good. Got the Cali eggs Benedict - a lot of food. Highly recommend this for breakfast/brunch.

We were in the area visiting relatives at the cemetery, and wanted to get lunch at a local place, instead of a chain restaurant. So glad we found this diner! It's a hidden gem. We could smell so many good things as we walked in from the parking lot. We were warmly greeted and directed to a seat. We got silverware and menus delivered, and the hostess took our beverage order. The menu had salads, sandwiches, and a few other options on one side - breakfast foods on the other. We both thought the steak salad sounded amazing, so we ordered those and a basket of fries. The man serving us was outgoing and personable; none of it seemed forced, like some servers can. He anticipated our needs and apologized that he got stuck at the register as someone was paying. Salad was freshly washed greens, perfectly grilled steak, buttery soft sliced avocado, etc. We both devoured them, munching on perfectly crisp french fries dipped in ketchup or ranch in between the healthy items. We both lamented that there was not a diner like this in our city. Hopefully we will be in the Merced area again soon, because we want to come back and try the eggs Benedict options!

Great service. Delicious, large portions. Comfortable ambiance - we walked in and were given our choice of seating. We chose a booth. We had the steak salad and chicken avocado sandwich which came with a choice of sides - we chose garlic fries. Our hostess and server were both very sweet and attentive. The owners weren't in today, but we were told that they worked there regularly.

Scott's was good. It was actually nice to have another option for breakfast. And it was a good breakfast. All the staff were polite, hustling and smiling. It's what you want to see. We walked in and they tell you, where ever you want. So we sat down, she brought our menus and took our drink orders. And looked over the menu. The food was hot and good. My wife ordered a burger. It was delicious and it came with a pile of fries. I had the chicken fried steak it was good. Hashbrowns good. I don't have any complaints. This is definitely our ew breakfast spot.
